Position Description
Summary:
Assistant professor of clinical psychology in the GW Professional Psychology Program
Specific Duties
and Responsibilities:
Teach graduate level courses in clinical psychology.
Conduct scholarly research in the field of
clinical psychology.
Supervise students' clinical work with patients in the program clinic.
Perform administrative duties for the
program and college as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Earned doctoral degree in clinical psychology from
a program accredited by the
American Psychological Association.
2. Licensure or immediate license eligibility as a psychologist in
the District of Columbia.
3. Teaching experience at the graduate level (including supervision of clinical work)
4. Evaluations
indicating excellence in teaching.
5. A commitment to scholarly research and discovery as evidenced by a record of scholarly
presentation and publication.
